Gratitude Matters

When we are small, one of the first things our parents teach is saying “Thank You” when someone does something nice for us. The phrase automatically comes out from our months every time we receive a gift be it candy, a toy and so forth. This idiom is just one of the thousands of methods of showing our gratitude, but do we mean it or it is JUST a response? The world is this cruel because we limit ourselves with automatic responses. We are like machines, which are programmed to do certain activities when one of their buttons is pushed. We are taught in school that maths, physic, and biology are fundamental for life, but, sadly we are never introduced the true magic and importance of gratitude. When we learn to bring more gratitude into our lives (regarding feeling not solely showing it) the colors of the world will indeed seem to us brighter and warmer. We will start to appreciate and notice all the little things that surround us right NOW and HERE, not when they are already lost. We will no longer take people for granted; instead, we will take each and every chance to enjoy their presence and make memories together. Last but not the least, the path of our lives will become longer and richer when we start each day with grateful hearts.

Just in case no one told you today!

You make a difference, and I appreciate you!!!!
