Officially, campaigns of Armenian parliamentary elections begin on March 5 and end on March 31 midnight. Five political parties and four blocs will contest to ensure the majority of 101 seats in the parliament by the votes of parliamentary elections holding on April 2.
The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) posted a song by “Reincarnation” band. The video is propaganda of the ruling party having the idea of changing the world. The important participants in the video are former two-weight world box champion Arthur Abraham, chess Grandmaster Levon Aronian and worldwide known cello player Narek Hakhnazrayan. Prime Minister and electoral candidate Karen Karapetyan grabs the attention of the people playing percussion instruments in the Republican Party’s song. The website of RPA’s electoral campaign is lovearmenia.am.
While RPA engages sportsmen and musicians in their campaign, the bloc of Armenian National Congress (ANC) and People’s Party of Armenia (PPA) announce that one of their primary concerns is the educational and cultural freedom. During the speech in the bloc’s headquarter, the abolition of national prizes and rewards was highlighted. The main reason for this position is the increased dependency of the representatives of science and art on the government hindering the breakthrough in these spheres. To remind, the chief goal of ANC-PPA bloc is to achieve a diplomatic solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
