“Fly With Me” will Represent Armenia in Eurovision Song Contest 2017

On March 18th Armenia premiered its song to Eurovision 2017 which is going to take place in Kiev this May. The country is going to be represented by Artsvik Arutyunyan, who will perform the song “Fly With Me.” The lyrics of the song were written by famous Armenian songwriter Avet Barseghyan and Davit Tserunyan, the music was written by Lilit Navasardyan and Levon Navasardyan.

The song got very mixed feedback from Eurovision fans: some thought that the song is original and not standard piece of art, while others thought it is boring, not competitive for the contest. Another viewpoint says that the song should represent the country and the culture, which is absolutely not the case, since the song is written in Eastern Chinese-Japanese motives.
