Movie about the Armenian Genocide “The Promise” had a huge Premiere in Los Angeles


The Promise, a movie about the Armenian Genocide in 1915 Ottoman Empire, had its USA premiere on 12th of April. The Premiere was attended by famous celebreties of Armenian and non-Armenian descent such as Kim and Kourtney Kardashians, Cher, Serj Tankian, Silvester Stalone, Orlando Bloom, Nina Dobrev and others.

The Promise directed by Terry George  will be shown on the big screens all ofer the world starting 21st of April, in Armenia the premiere will be on April 27th. The 100 million dollar budget movie was starred by  Christian Bale, Oscar Isaac, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Anjela Sarafyan and others.


After the premiere many stars started to share hashtag #KeepThePromise in their social media platforms, which received big outreach from fans. What does the hashtag mean we can only guess, or simply wait till the premiere of the movie in our country.
