Serendipity

Serendipity is one of my favorite films which is about how the hand of fate affects two people who meet by chance at Christmas in New York. It is an American romantic comedy film, starring John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale. It was written by Marc Klein and directed by Peter Chelsom.

So, the drama tells about unusual love story of two people. During the Christmas season in New York, when the city is in turmoil and chaos, Jonathan and Sarah meet in one of the stores, trying to buy the same pair of black gloves. This is how they get acquainted and they decide to spend the evening together.

Although each of them is involved in other relationships, they feel mutual attraction for each other. At the end of the evening Jonathan wants to exchange phone numbers. When Sarah writes her phone number on a piece of paper, it gets blown into the wind, which she takes as a bad sign. However, she comes up with the idea of putting their names and phone numbers out to the universe. So, Jonathan writes his phone number on a cash banknote, which exchanges immediately and Sarah writes her phone number in the book that she gives back to the store. If fate favors, they will soon meet. But fate played by its own rules …

Serendipity is life’s funny way of bringing people together, and we have started calling it coincidence. But it is actually the universe laughing and having fun, while at the same time uniting friends and family.

I do believe that there is one person for me and one person for you that just fits… Image result for purple and blue heart emoji Image result for purple and blue heart emoji
